About Me
Welcome to my corner of the web! I'm Dr. Kushan Dharmawardena, the Managing Director of Training Link International (Pvt) Ltd. I hold a Doctorate (DBA) from Aldresgate University, Philippines, Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Postgraduate Institute of Management (P.I.M.) at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura (Sri Lanka). Master's Degree in Advanced Business Practice (MABP) from University of South Australia, Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Dip.Ed.) from the Northern Territory University of Darwin, Australia and became a proud member of the Hotel Catering and International Management Association (MHCIMA) in the United Kingdom and the Sri Lanka Institute of Training and Development (SLITAD).

My Experience
My professional journey has taken me across the globe, allowing me to gain invaluable experience in various fields by holding senior management positions as well as academic positions. I’ve worked in Sri Lanka, India, Papua New Guinea, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Maldives, Dubai, Bangladesh, England, and Australia. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to excel in roles related to Training and Education, Sales & Marketing, Hotel and Catering Management, Leasing, Stock Broking, Merchant Banking, and Management Consultancy.
Training and Consulting
One of my passions is conducting training programs and workshops for organizations looking to enhance their capabilities. I’ve had the privilege of working with over 200 reputed organizations, including international bodies like the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, and UNICEF. My workshops are built on the foundation of “Experiential Learning,” where participants engage in challenging and enjoyable activities. This approach not only ensures a thorough understanding of key concepts but also motivates participants to apply their newfound knowledge in real-world scenarios.
Academic Contributions
I’ve also had the honor of contributing to academia as a Senior Leadership and Manament Trainer at Melbourne City Institute of Education (MCIE) where I won the award for the Hospitality and Business Management Trainer of the year in 2020, and held academic positions in many other reputed institutes including Australian College of Business and Technology (ACBT), Alice Springs College of Technical and Further Education (TAFE) and Lae technical College, Lae, Papua New Guinea. Additionally, I’ve conducted programs at esteemed institutions such as Colombo University, Moratuwa University, University of Kelaniya, and the Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM) at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
